About Me
Hi, I’m Kayla Steffey Bates, a dedicated healthcare professional, entrepreneur, and lifelong learner with over a decade of experience spanning healthcare operations, education, and business consulting. My career journey has taken me through roles as a medical assistant, healthcare simulation coordinator, and lead medical assistant, where I cultivated a deep passion for improving systems, mentoring others, and delivering exceptional care. Today, I’m bringing that same commitment to fostering growth and innovation in healthcare, creative industries, and beyond.
In 2022, I made the important decision to step back from the traditional workforce to care for my teenage son while we navigated his challenging medical journey. During this time, I launched Interstellar Cre8tions, a business specializing in custom gifts and apparel, and expanded into business consulting with Interstellar Creative Consulting. Through these ventures, I have guided entrepreneurs in crafting impactful brands and scaling their businesses. Additionally, I founded the Creative Dropship and Wholesale Academy, equipping individuals with the tools to succeed in dropshipping and wholesale industries. I also pursued advanced education, earning certifications in Artificial Intelligence and progressing toward my Doctorate in Business Administration.
Outside of my professional achievements, I am deeply passionate about creative expression. I’m a published author of Creative Mindset: A 30-Day Affirmation Guide, a resource designed to inspire and empower creative entrepreneurs. As a musician, singer-songwriter, and actress, I find joy in performing and storytelling, using art to connect with and uplift others. These creative outlets fuel my drive to bring innovation and inspiration into everything I do.
Now, as I re-enter the healthcare industry and expand my creative endeavors, I am passionate about blending my professional expertise with my creative passions to drive meaningful change.
